Jeff Tyler Perpetual Trophy for BEST IN SHOW

The Boston Terrier Club of NSW Inc is delighted to announce the return of a Best In Show perpetual trophy for the winner who takes out the top honour at our September Championship Show.

Jeff Tyler was the other half of Bostonwood Boston Terriers (formerly known as Vamkel Boston Terriers). Jeff and Vikki took over the Bostonwood prefix in 2010 after previously showing under the Vamkel prefix. Born on the 9th October 1958 Jeff gave service to the NSW Police Force for 22 years. In 2018 Jeff had a serious fall from a ladder while attending mundane household chores which in turn resulted in 5 years of multiple and ongoing injuries. Sadly, diagnosed with Brain Cancer in 2022, Jeff passed away 13 months later. 

The Club is very grateful to Vikki for her kind donation in loving memory of her husband Jeff. The Jeff Tyler Perpetual Trophy will be awarded to the Best In Show winner each year for the September show. Each year a plague with the winning dog's name will be affixed to the trophy. The trophy will remain in possession of the Boston Terrier Club and the winner will receive a photo with the trophy and a small memento to keep.
